About TheSMESpace
The aim of TheSMESpace
is to
provide a single place for SME's in the UK to get
information and tools that will help them in their day-to-day running
of their business and personal organisation. The aim of the
site is to be very much community driven - "by the people, for the
people" type of approach.
Some of the smartest
people we know run their own small businesses. Some of the
business are one to two people, some of them are up to 150-200 people.
The one thing they all have in common is that through their
own personal energies they make it work. They have encountered the
types of difficulties that all of us who have a business do i.e. what
tools and products should I use ? How do I share information
in my organisation ? What should I understand about taxation,
particularly around savings ? What grants am I eligible to ?
How do I keep up-to-date with issues relevant to my types of
business ?
TheSMESpace was designed to solve these problems and questions and more - by providing web tools and a community ethos around information and sharing, our fervent hope is to create a space that is both useful and relevant to all types of SME businesses.
